Just A Warning

I’ve tried to present some reasons why I think that you should work with me. Here are some reasons why you might not: 

1. You already know more than I do about advertising. If so, I’d be happy to refer you to an Order-Taker.  

2. You expect instant gratification. If this were the case, I’d encourage you to take your money and invest in a weekend-trip to Vegas. At least you can roll the dice with a cocktail in your hand. I believe that all true sustainable growth comes slowly through time, sweat, and perseverance. 

3.
You have an aversion to making waves. This mentality will produce clichéd ads that result in a slow death. If you want success in advertising, you might have to risk pissing people off.

4.
You need a Rep that can engage in small talk. I have a very limited capacity for (idle) chitchat. Please don’t take it personally. It’s not you; it’s me.

5.
You need a guaranteed success. In the words of Advertising legend David Ogilvy, “If you want security, go to jail. You won’t find it in advertising.”
